CHESTERFIELD & BOXED SHARES – OPENING DAY
All members who have on farm pick-up memberships at the Chesterfield farm may come on your assigned pick-up day for your first pick-up of produce in the Distribution Center and for pick-your-own herbs according to the schedule below. Your assigned day is reflected on your confirmation card (the remainder of the confirmation cards are being mailed May 17th).
Produce quantities may be low the first week and it may not be worth the drive if you are coming from a great distance. As the season progresses, quantities will increase. We expect to have an assortment of spring greens and pick-your-own herbs, but pick-your-own strawberries are not yet ready for harvest.
If you pick up at the Chesterfield farm and your assigned day is Tuesday, your first day to come to the farm is May 22nd; if your assigned day is Thursday, your first day to come to the farm is May 24th.
Boxed Share members, your first pick-up days are as follows:
Saturday Boxed Shares* May 26th
Sunday Boxed Shares* May 27th
Wednesday Boxed Shares May 30th
* Weekend Boxed Share members, please be advised that your first pick-up is during Memorial Day weekend. If you anticipate not being available to pick up your box, please call or email the office to cancel delivery.
Of course, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call the office. We’re in on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 to 5.
As of 5/16, we still have memberships available for our 2012 season for pick-up in Chesterfield as well as all of our shore and South Jersey Boxed Share locations. We are sold out at the Pennington Distribution Center.
